My name is Karen Alleluia (like hallelujah!) and I am a Filipina-American illustrator who obsesses over color, shape, and good design. Sometimes my work is based on the bond that I share with my two dogs and other times it is formed upon pressing social issues that deserve more attention. My hope is that my illustrations will inspire creativity and encourage others to be more empathic beings.

I’m currently living my dream working on children’s books, freelancing, and managing my online shop full-time. When I’m not working, I like to do jiu jitsu and spar with people bigger than me. My go-to submission is the rear naked choke. My secret for success is gummy bears.
